Hema |

Hema has been a yoga devotee for many years and is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor. She completed her training under Debbie Cohen in Boston, Massachusetts (USA), and is certified by the Yoga Alliance. Hema expanded her training by attending the first teacher training at Pure Yoga as well as completing the 'Radiant Child Yoga program' under well-known yogi and author, Shakta Kaur Khalsa. Hema has taught the children's Yoga program for two years at Flex Studio in Stanley and has made yoga for kids a major area of specialization in her teaching. She is currently enrolled in the advanced training for the 'Yoga Kids' program and is working towards becoming a Yoga Kids facilitator. Yoga also encouraged Hema to complete a second bachelor degree in Dietetics (Nutrition) to complement her practice.

Megala |

Megala is from south India. She started practicing yoga in her teens, inspired by her brother Yograj C. Poovendiran, who was her first yoga teacher. Before becoming a yoga teacher, Megala was a nurse. She has won national level yoga championships and titles such as "Yoga Jothi", "Yoga Ratna" and "International Yoga Demonstrator". Megala underwent intense training courses to become a Yoga teacher such as 'Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Science' with Dr. Asana Andiappan; 'The Teacher's Training' and 'The Advanced Teacher's Training' courses at the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in India and received the titles "Yoga Siromani, Teacher of Yoga" and "Yoga Acharya, Master of Yoga", and 'Ashtanga Yoga' with Mr. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore. Megala loves to share her knowledge with everyone and she comes with plenty of it having acquired Ten years of yoga teaching experience.

Maria |

Maria has always enjoyed learning through dance and movement. She is a certified aerobic dance instructor with the Australian Fitness Training for Professionals and a part-time belly dancer who performs publicly. She had been practicing yoga with devotion for many years and decided to further her education through the Pure Yoga Teacher Training in 2007 where she became a certified Hatha Yoga instructor. Recently, she has been teaching Yoga at various gyms and clubhouses including the Hong Kong Jockey Club and Cathay City. She is also a Yoga Kids Associate (YKA) and enrolled in the ¡¥Yogakids¡¦ advanced training to become a Certified Yoga Kids Trainer (CYKT). Maria speaks fluent English and Cantonese.

Keet was born in Malaysia and completed her tertiary education in Perth, Australia. She was first attracted to yoga by the beautiful poses and the flexibility of the human body. This encouraged Keet to begin her yoga journey and her passion continues as she evolves deeper into her yoga practice. Keet now believes that yoga practice is not just beautiful poses, but has a deep spiritual side for her. Through yoga she gains a sense of calm and peacefulness in her life. Through her teacher training she is able to share her experiences and joy of yoga. Keet speaks fluent English & Cantonese and is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor of Hatha Yoga. |

Wai-Ling is a passionate Yoga teacher who has dedicated the past 8 years of her life to Yoga. She feels truly grateful and blessed to share the beautiful teachings of yoga with the Hong Kong community. She believes the teachings of yoga are universal, and everyone, regardless of their age, gender, religion, nationality can learn yoga and benefit so much from it, not just physically, but more importantly; mentally and spiritually. Wai-Ling is certified as "Yoga Acharya - Master of Yoga" by the renowned International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and completed their Teachers'Training and Advanced Teachers' Training course in Kerala, India, as well as Pure Yoga's Teacher Training course in Hong Kong and continues to travel to India every year to deepen her knowledge and practise. |

Yogaraj C. P started learning yoga at the age of five and he has been practising yoga for more than 28 years. He has more than 10 years experience in teaching Yoga. He has taught Yoga in India, Hong Kong , China and Taiwan. He is very passionate about Yoga and his first yoga award was the title 'Yogaraj' (King of Yoga) at the age of 14. He was also awarded 'The Best Yoga Demonstrator' at the 5th International Yoga festival in Pondicherry, India; the title 'Yoga Rathna' (Jewel of Yoga) by Divine Life Society in Chennai, India and the 'Creative/Innovation' Award in 2006 by Pure Yoga International, Hong Kong. He achieved the Guinness World Record for 'Longest Yoga Marathon' in June 2009 that lasted 28 hours in which he performed 1,019 different asanas. His Yoga classes are fun, creative and energetic. His positive attitude helps motivate students, build confidence and discover their inner potential. |

Pat is a certified Pilates Polestar instructor for mat and small props. Her interest began in 2002 as a student of Pilates and since then she has gone on to train as an instructor and teaches a variety of classes while also remaining a dedicated student. Pat has a solid all-round understanding of the body having also studied anatomy and acupuncture. She has a lively approach which focuses on posture, precision, breathing and body awareness. |

Sumit was born in traditional yoga family, he started learning yoga at the age of 7. He participated and won several yoga championships during his school and university studies. He participated in many health fairs as yoga therapist including india international trade fair in year 2005 and 2007. Sumit visited many countries including China and Taiwan to spread the knowledge of yoga. His area of specialization is stress management and meditation. |

Balli has completed his Yoga Instructor course (YIC), his post Graduate diploma in Yoga Therapy from Svyasa University (Bangalore, India) and is now working on his Master of Science in Yoga. He has competed in many recognized competition and reached honor position in many of them. He was awarded the first price at the National International Himalaya competition on Dec 2008. His area of specialization is Yoga Therapy which can help relieve physical and/or mental stress. |
