If you scan the people around you in your yoga class, you will see different proportions of the body, shapes and sizes. We all look different. However, when it comes to practicing yoga, we started to assume everyone should look the same – we seem to have forgotten about the uniqueness of our own body. Alignment works great when we are new in the yoga class, but as we advance in our practice, we slowly need to understand our body and find our OWN alignment in order to maximize our stretch, maximize our strength, and minimize injuries.
If you want to learn more about your body, or if you have ever wondered why certain poses are always a challenge for you, you will have your mysteries solved at this workshop. Even if you are just starting your yoga practice, it is always good to understand your body so you learn more about the potentials of your beautiful body.
